Find Property Owner: Who owns that house?
Owning a home is the American dream. People save money for years to put a down payment on a house. It’s the ultimate symbol of independence, even more so than the car. A house is your castle and no one else’s. (Unless of course you took out a loan to buy it, in which case it’s the bank’s house until you pay them back.)
I know I often go on walks with friends and we usually end up house watching, pointing out the ones we like. If either of us were serious buyers we might want more info on them. Let’s say you’re out with your family and come across a home or property that would be perfect for you. Unfortunately the home isn’t immediately for sale. You’d like to contact the owner in order to discuss a possible sale or lease of the property, but don’t know where to look. Real estate agents may be able to help with a property owner search, but getting them involved so early has its own complications. Now there’s a way to find the property owner of most homes in the US. FindPropertyOwner.com is a site that does just that- locates and identifies key information about properties.
To find a property owner first you need to check to see if they cover that area. This can be done by checking the coverage area page, or by using the map on the home page. Simply click on a state and then county and a popup will indicate whether they cover that area. If so, it brings you to the Quick Check page already zoomed in on the county of interest. Here you can enter in the property address, pick the location on the map, and include a description. It also prompts you for your name and email so they know where to send the information once they have it.
Find Property Owner uses multiple (undisclosed) methods to conduct their search. Due to this fact they are able to identify the property even if you can’t provide an address. If it’s not available then you can provide a description and place a point on the map. If you don’t have both of those then you can just include either of them. The fee increases as the information provided becomes less specific. Once the property is identified there are three levels of information that can be requested. All packages include the address if it wasn’t already provided. The bronze package also gives you the owner’s name. This would leave it to you to dig up their contact info. Silver provides their name and phone number. Gold includes name, phone number, and demographics. Demographics may consist of any of the following: estimated property value, total area, flood zone information, population of the city or town, and other similar info. Results will be returned anywhere from a few minutes to two days depending on the information given.
House or property shopping can be a fun pastime. It’s one of those things people tend to do regardless of whether they’re in the market or not. Once you’re a little more serious, having a conversation with the property owner is key. Maybe they haven’t listed it on the market but have been considering it. Oftentimes people want would rather avoid the hassle of real estate agents and deal with you directly. If everybody can reach agreement then it can save all parties money. Whatever the case, Find Property Owner is a quick and easy way to conduct a property owner search.
Find Property Owner will continue its search of property owners on the other side of the Styx river. We hope they had the requisite coins placed in their person to pay for the ferry. Although not all were content with their product offering, some enjoyed it while it lasted.
